Air source heat-pump installation: price and contents

The basic installation price includes:

• installation of the indoor and outdoor units
• one penetration through a wooden wall
• up to 5 metres of surface-mounted refrigerant piping, connections and accessories
• refrigerant-pipe casing in white or brown
• electrical connection, including a safety switch and up to 5 metres of electrical cabling
• wall bracket for the outdoor unit
• commissioning and user guidance
• installation report

Additional work and materials

Site-specific additional work and materials are charged separately:

• refrigerant piping beyond 5 metres: €45.00/m
• electrical cabling beyond 5 metres: €9.00/m
• electrical supply from the distribution board: €300.00
• separately agreed additional work: €93.00/h
• additional penetration through a brick or tiled wall: €70.00 each
• diamond drilling through a concrete element: €300.00–350.00 per penetration, depending on height
• work above 4 metres: from €95.00
• platform ladder for a high indoor-unit installation: €55.00
• ground stand for the outdoor unit: €75.00 each; the customer provides the supporting slabs
• protective enclosure for the outdoor unit: €280.00

The installed price consists of the selected equipment, basic installation and any site-specific additional work. The equipment price alone therefore does not represent the total installation cost.

What makes up the total price?

• Equipment: the €1549 starting price is calculated using a Gree Bora 35 heat pump and basic installation. Choose a suitable model from the Gree, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Toshiba, Panasonic or Bosch range.
• Basic installation: basic installation costs €749. It includes the indoor and outdoor units, one wooden-wall penetration, up to 5 metres of piping and electrical cabling, a wall bracket, commissioning, guidance and an installation report.
• Additional work: longer piping, extra electrical work, special penetrations, work at height or additional materials are added separately to the quote when required.

You always receive an exact quote that includes the required additional work, so the total price is clear before ordering.

How ordering and installation proceed

2. We review the site. We confirm the installation location, pipe length, electrical requirements and possible additional work.
3. We agree on the equipment and schedule. You receive a model recommendation and an installation date.
4. A professional completes the installation. Basic installation includes commissioning, user guidance and an installation report.
5. Use begins immediately after installation. You receive guidance for everyday operation and a clear account of any additional work.

Household-expense tax credit for installation work

You may be eligible for a household-expense tax credit of up to 70% of the installation-work share, subject to the Finnish Tax Administration's conditions. The invoice clearly itemises the eligible work.
