Cleanliness ensures efficient operation - Dual Barrier coating

Mitsubishi Electric has developed a Dual Barrier Coating that keeps the air source heat pump clean for longer. The air handling parts of the AY series indoor units are also coated to repel dirt. Better heating and cooling performance and less maintenance. It almost sounds too good to be true!

Automatic cleaning function

Something completely new has been added to the AY series of devices. The Self Clean function, which can be programmed via the remote control, automatically keeps the indoor unit clean. When the function is active, the indoor unit is blown dry after the cooling function, so that moisture that has condensed on the surfaces of the device during cooling does not remain to collect dirt in the indoor unit.

V Blocking filter

In addition to coarse filters, the indoor units of the Mitsubishi Electric AY series are equipped with a V Blocking filter. The filter effectively removes contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, mold and allergens from the indoor air.
