The Raedian load-management unit is a wireless accessory for Raedian charging stations that adds dynamic load management and solar-power control to EV charging. It automatically adjusts charging power according to the property's other electricity consumption and solar generation.
The charging-station connection uses LoRa radio technology, so no data cable or Wi-Fi network is required. Current transformers are installed around the supply cable to measure available power in real time and control charging accordingly.
