Higher household tax credit when replacing oil heating

When replacing oil heating, the credit is 60% of the labour cost, up to 3 500 € per person and for spouses combined 7 000 €. The higher credit is available at least until the end of 2027.

The credit applies to labour, not to the heat pump, materials or travel costs.

If the labour portion of the invoice is €8,000, the calculated credit is 60% × €8,000 = €4,800 before the deductible. One person can receive up to €3,500. The final combined credit for spouses depends on how the costs are allocated, the annual €150 deductible per person and the amount of tax paid.
