Patented technology

Mitsubishi Electric's proprietary inverter technology operates continuously in all system functions and makes the Ecodan R32 heat pump a suitable choice for all homes.

Complete system

Indoor unit – Ecodan receives thermal energy from the outdoor unit and transfers it to the radiators of the water-circulating system for heating, underfloor heating and domestic hot water. The system is efficiently controlled by a built-in control center.

Outdoor unit for Nordic conditions

Thanks to Mitsubishi Electric's own compressor production, the outdoor units efficiently produce heat with the compressor down to -28 °C outdoor temperature (Zubadan). Therefore, the equipment is energy efficient.

Tomorrow's features today

Easy to use

You can equip your Ecodan R32 air-to-water heat pump with a wireless remote control or a wired room temperature sensor that measures the room temperature. The control logic analyzes the measured room temperature and uses it to determine the water temperature required by the heating network to achieve the target room temperature. The network temperature is kept as low as possible at all times to optimize the efficiency of the heat pump. This also makes use of the heat generated by the sun and ensures that the indoor temperature is always consistently comfortable.

Wi-Fi control

With the optional Wi-Fi adapter and the MELCloud app, you can control your heat pump from anywhere - whether you're at home or on the go. You can also see a variety of information about the equipment's operation. In addition, the information is stored in the app for possible later review.

Smart grid readiness

Short-term fluctuations in electricity prices, driven by supply and demand, are commonplace. Smart grid features allow electricity consumption to be prioritized during times when electricity is cheapest. The same feature also enables solar power systems to be integrated into heating systems as an efficient part of the system.

Two-circuit divider

This accessory allows you to divide the heating circuits of your air-to-water heat pump into two different temperatures. For example, a high temperature for the radiator network and a low temperature for the underfloor heating in the bathrooms. In this way, heat can be produced to parts of the heating network that require different temperatures exactly as needed, and the heat pump's coefficient of performance remains optimal in every situation.

Effective Zubadan technology -28°C

Some of Ecodan's R32 heat pumps are equipped with Mitsubishi Electric's unique Zubadan technology, which provides faster and more efficient heating, both of which are very useful in large houses and cold environments.
